Here you’ll find some scenarios on when this would be used:
When the IRS rejects because of the wrong IPPIN or DOB/ SSN issue, dependent issue, etc.
The return must be mailed for the Taxpayer to get the appropriate refund.
The return needs to be e-filed first because a Paper RT can only be done when a return is rejected and needs to be mailed to the IRS.
If you decide you need to request this, please do so in a ticket. Before submitting the ticket please keep the following information in mind:
The Return must be Rejected.
The return must have the bank app attached to the original transmission.
When IRS funds, the normal bank product proceeds.
You need to Print the Return and mail it to the IRS (it should have the bank info for your service bank on the return).
Keep in mind that in the ticket you’ll need to provide the following:
The EFIN related to the return.
The Last 4 of the SSN of the taxpayer.
The Last Name of the taxpayer.
Use the following instructions to submit the ticket correctly:
Open the Support Portal link and sign in. https://support.servicebureauaccelerator.com/portal/en/signin
Click “Create/Add a ticket” on the right side of the screen.
Fill in the following as shown below:
Once your ticket is processed by the support team and completed, you will receive a notification.
