Description: This article will guide you on how to add a markup to the Audit Protection and Identity Theft Protection Fees.
Process:
This option allows you, as the SB owner, to set the minimum and maximum charges for the Audit Maintenance Pro and/or Defend My ID services. By doing so, the ERO can add their markup fee, ensuring that you (the SB) receive your portion of the fee.
If you want to add a minimum and/or maximum amount for the Audit Protection Fee and/or the Identity Theft Protection Fee, please follow these instructions:
Log in to your Software using your Admin credentials.
Click on ‘Main Menu’ on the left side of the screen.
Click on ‘Company Configuration’.
Click on ‘Ancillary Product Customization’.
Type the minimum and/or maximum amount you want to charge for the Audit Protection Fee and/or the Identity Theft Protection Fee (*You also have the option to select if you want those fees charged by default).
Click on ‘Continue‘ to save the changes.
To confirm that the changes are showing correctly, click on ‘Select Office’ on the left side of the screen.
Click on ‘Edit’ for any of the offices.
Scroll down and locate the ‘Partner Product Configuration’ section.
To confirm the Minimum, click on the dropdown menu for the fee you modified (Audit Protection Fee and/or the Identity Theft Protection Fee) and confirm the amount you selected for the minimum is showing.
Example: I typed $60 for the Minimum.To confirm the Maximum, click on the dropdown menu for the fee you modified (Audit Protection Fee and/or the Identity Theft Protection Fee), select the Base Price, and then click on the Add On Fee dropdown.
Now, do the math and add the add-on maximum amount showing to the Base Price, and the total should be the maximum amount you selected.
Example: I typed $80 for the Maximum, so $60 (which is the Base Price) + $20 (which is the maximum amount eligible to add as the add-on fee) = $80.
