Description: This article will guide you when you need to reset your office-software password and how to identify the difference between the usernames.
Process:
In the ticket titled “TSP-YOUR BUSINESS NAME-YOUR MASTER EFIN,” you can find your Admin Username. This username grants you access to both the Account HUB and the Software with full admin control. However, please note that you cannot file returns in the Software using the Admin credentials.
Additionally, each preparer account has its own set of credentials. Therefore, if you need to log in to a specific preparer account, avoid using the admin credentials and instead use the respective preparer's credentials.
Open your Software Login Link.
Try to log in using your Admin Credentials. Locate the correct username in the ticket previously mentioned.
If you can’t access it with the Admin username because the password doesn’t match, please follow the instructions:
If your issue was only with the Admin credentials, you are good to go. If your issue is with a specific office/preparer, please follow the next steps:
Once inside, click Select Office on the left side of your screen.
Locate the Office from the list that has the correct EFIN where the preparer account is located.
Click the ACCESS button on the right side of the screen.
Click Configuration.
Click Preparer Setup.
Click Edit on the correct preparer account.
Scroll down, now locate, and click the Change Password button.
Create a new password and click update password.
Now click Continue.
Now click Logout in the right top corner.
The last step will be trying to log in with the new password.

If you are still unable to log in after following these steps, kindly submit a ticket, and our support team will assist you further. In the ticket, please ensure to include the following information:
