Connect an EFIN To a Tax Office Location

ProWeb: How to Connect an EFIN To a Tax Office Location

Once you’ve set-up and created your Sub Site’s Office Location, We’re going to connect the EFIN that we set-up in Account Hub to this Office Location in your Software.

Because they are 2 different systems, We have to make sure that whenever we add an EFIN on backend Account hub, and get that enrolled in the bank, We link that to an office in your actual Tax Software.

To access the Configuration menu of your Sub Site's Office Location:

πŸ‘‰ Within your Software,  Click on Select Office > Click on Manage Office, then Click on the Access button for the Office you are going to be working on.

πŸ‘‰ Clicking on

will take you to the Office/Location's Settings

πŸ‘‰ Click on Configuration

Once in the Configuration Menu πŸ‘‰ Click on ERO Setup

 β€‹

πŸ‘‰ Click on Add ERO

ERO Setup

On ERO Setup, You will be required to enter a Customer ID, to get that information,

Go to your Account Hub > Manage Locations, look for the location you are working on and click on the edit button

over at the left corner of the Company location.

It will then give you this screen with all of their information, from there, you will find the Customer ID. Highlight it and Copy it.

Then go back to the ERO Setup in the Software and paste the Customer ID in the box.

You can just copy the information you have in Account Hub into the ERO Setup, making sure that it matches.

  • ERO Name: We'd usually put in the Company name that we entered in Account hub.

  • Office Identifier: We'd usually just add in the Company name but this is useful if they have more than 1 location.

  • EIN: We can leave that blank or your ERO can add that information in at a later time.
