Account Hub: Update Additional Information in the Bank App

Description:

This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to edit the Additional Information section, including fields such as Type of Organization, Type of Office, and other general business details. Please note, this guide does not cover changes related to bank account information, fee settings, or personal details such as the SSN, date of birth, or email address of the EFIN Owner, Principal Owner, Control Person, or Office Staff.

Process: 

  1. Log in to your Account HUB using your Admin Credentials.



  2. Click on ‘View’ in the ‘Manage Banking’ section, or click on ‘Manage Banking’ in the menu in the top left corner of your screen.

       



  3. Locate the EFIN you want to edit.



  4. Click on the bank name for the application you need to edit, located on the right side of the screen.



  5. Click on section 2: ‘Additional Information’.



    • Modify the necessary information. For example, this is the section where you can modify the Type of Organization or Type of Office.

    • We STRONGLY recommend selecting the following answers for the questions below, as this will avoid having to provide additional documentation to the banks in order for the application to be Accepted.

      • What is the type of your organization? The recommendation is to select ‘SoleProprietor’.

      • What is the type of your office? We recommend selecting ‘Stand Alone’.



    • Click on ’SAVE’.



  6. Now you need to Lock and Submit the application. Please DO NOT skip this step, otherwise your modifications will not be saved and applied.

  7. Click on section 8: ’Lock and Submit Application’.



    • Section 8: Lock And Submit Application

      • In this section, your changes will be submitted. This final step is crucial, otherwise, the application will not be submitted.

    • A pop-up window will appear. Click on ‘OK’ to lock and submit the application.



    • The following message will be displayed.



    • Section 8 will now say, Application Locked”, and the padlock icon will turn red, and appear in the locked position.



    • Close the bank application by clicking on the red “X” in the top right corner.



  8. Refresh the page.

  9. The bank application that was modified will now display a red padlock; this means it was resubmitted.



  10. After these steps have been completed, you simply need to wait for the bank application to be reaccepted.
