OLT: Unlock Return Request

Description: This article will guide you on how to submit an ‘Unlock Return Request’ for OLT.

Process: 

If you need to request to have a return unlocked on OLT, you will need to submit a ticket and provide some information. To do so, please follow these instructions:

1. Open the Support Portal link and sign in.

2. Click on ‘Create a Ticket’ on the right side of the screen.
   
   

   

   
   
   

3. Enter the following information as shown below:
   
   

   • Subject: Type “Pull Back Return - EFIN”, and add the EFIN related to the return you want to unlock.

   • Category: EFINs :: Other
     
     

     

     
     
     

   • Description: Please provide the following information:
     
     

     • If you also have another software (TaxSlayer or Crosslink), please confirm that you need this done for OLT.

     • If you have Sub-SB’s, please provide the Master EFIN for the Sub-SB which the return was transmitted under.

     • The EFIN

     • The taxpayer’s last 4 of SSN

     • The taxpayer’s full name

     • The bank that was used

     • The exact Location Account Name

     • The reason why you need this return unlocked. This is crucial for us to submit your request.
       
       

       

       
       
       

   • Provide the best phone number you can be reached at.
     
     

     

     
     
     

   • Click on ‘Submit’.
     
     

     

     
     
     

4. You will be notified in the ticket once your request has been processed and completed by the support team.
