OLT: Mobile App

Description: This article will show you how to get the OLT mobile app.

Process:

This process is divided into 2 parts. One to obtain the Passcode, and the other to download and set up the app.

• Obtain the Passcode: You will need to provide the preparers with their passcode, because you are the only one with access to the MO (Multi Office Manager). Then they will be able to provide it to the taxpayers.
  
  

  1. Log in to your MO (Multi Office Manager) using your Admin Credentials.
     
     

     

     
     
     

  2. Once inside, click on ’Admin‘ in the left side bar.
     
     

     

     
     
     

  3. Locate the correct Location (the location that the preparer and  taxpayer are associated with) and click the Pencil Icon.
     
     

     

     
     
     

  4. Now click on ‘Save and Continue’.
     
     

     

     
     
     

  5. Now click on the Mobile App icon belonging to the correct preparer inside that Location.
     
     

     

     
     
     

  6. The Passcode will now be visible for you to take note of. Remember that each Location, and each Preparer, will have a unique Passcode.
     
     

     

     
     
     

  7. Click on ’Save and Continue’.
     
     

     

     
     
     
     

• Download and Set Up the Mobile App: These are the steps that you will need to instruct the taxpayer to follow, so that they can get the app downloaded and set up (you can also follow these steps if you wish to test the app for yourself).
  
  

  1. Open the App Store on your phone.
     
     

     

     
     
     

  2. Once inside, search for “My Tax Office” and download the app. (The developer’s name is, ”ON-LINE TAXES INC“)
     
     

     

     
     
     

  3. Open the app and click on ’Sign Up‘.
     
     

     

     
     
     

  4. Please fill in the requested information, and then click on ‘Next‘. (If you are only testing the app, you can enter fictional information, except for the Firm Passcode)
     
     

     

     
     
     

     • The Firm Passcode is the code you got from the MO (Multi Office Manager).
       
       

       

       
       
       

  5. Fill in the requested information and click on ‘Sign Up‘.
     
     

     

     
     
     

     • The Firm Passcode is the code you got from the MO (Multi Office Manager).
       
       

       

       
       
       

  6. On the following screen, click on ‘Continue’.
     
     

     

     
     
     

  7. Please fill in the requested information and then click on ‘Save‘. (If you are only testing the app, you can enter fictional information).
