OLT: How to Default Interview or Direct Mode

Process:

To set the default Entry Mode for all returns associated with a specific preparer under a specific EFIN, please follow the instructions below

1. Log in to your Software.
   
   

   

   
   
   

2. Click on ‘Setup’.
   
   

   

   
   
   

3. Click on ‘Settings‘ in the left sidebar.
   
   

   

   
   
   

4. Select the Entry Mode you want.
   
   

   

   
   
   

5. Scroll down and click on ‘Save Changes’.
   
   

   

   
   
   

6. To do this for a different preparer, you can change the preparer here and repeat the steps.
   
   

   

   
   
   

7. You have now set the entry mode you need as default.
