To access the taxpayer portal, the preparer needs to invite the taxpayer to create an account.
Portal invites can only be sent from the current tax year.
Taxpayers available in the 2023 client manager will have an icon for ‘My Tax Office’.
There are two options, Full Access and Remote Signature Only.
The preparer will select one of the options, select continue to email the portal invite to the taxpayer.
Once the taxpayer receives the link, they can create their account to access the portal.
