Process:
If you need to transfer the data from previous years into the current one, and this data is in Tax Slayer, but you want it in OLT, you’ll need to submit a ticket to request it. The Software does this process.
You need to provide the following information in the ticket:
The EFIN we are taking the data from, in TaxSlayer.
The EFIN we are adding the data to, in OLT. (This could be the same as the previous one, just clarify this in the ticket)
Location Account name we are adding the data to, in OLT.
Confirmation that the destination EFIN was already added in your MO (Multi Office Admin).
Confirmation that the source EFIN is still in the Account HUB or the Data Recovery Code. To locate the Data Recovery Code, refer to: How to Obtain the Data Recovery Code
The specific years you want the data to be pulled from.
To ensure you are submitting the ticket correctly, please use the following instructions:
Open the Support Portal link and Sign in.
https://support.servicebureauaccelerator.com/Click on “Create/Add a ticket” on the right side of the screen.
Fill in the following as shown below:
Subject: Type “Data Transfer TaxSlayer to OLT” and add the EFIN or EFINS.
Category: EFINs :: Updating Efins
Description: Please confirm that the destination EFIN was already added to the MO, confirmation that the source EFIN is still in Account HUB, the EFIN where we are taking the data from, the EFIN where we are adding the data (This could be the same as the previous one, just clarify this here), the Location Account name and the specific years you want the data to be pulled from.
